All of you are on the almost right track. Observant!

The lower black-and-white billboard. There is at least one more room for improvement. It narrows the list of possible year but perhaps it could mislead you to wrong place.

The blur by camera-shake is making ghosts of the white text to not only left side but also right side.

Besides that, you possibly cannot recognize the shape of one object correctly due to the lens flares/ghosting.

I cannot read the upper board (with orange or red letters) so far, there are some candidates, though.

One of the whitish (neon?) light signs has a line "SHOES". One who know the place (i.e. the right answer) can know that by finding old photos of the place via the net. Currently the sign (and perhaps also some sort of shoe store) does not exist.

Clues from the question master:
- (New) One of two signboard is probably useless.
- (New) The lower signboard is a double-edged sword, it gives you an accurate watch and a map that leads you to a wrong course.

- (New) There are two ghosts... left... and right side...

- (New) One of light signs was of SHOES. It vanished like mist as the time passes.
- Taken more than 50 years ago.
- Right-hand traffic.
- In case of Vladivostok, some street trees seem of subarctic.
- Some objects remain today as far as I see in the Street View.
- (Updated) The lens flares/ghosting might mislead your Street View searching. You might mistakenly be imagining other shape for an object.

As bitkar wrote, it says "MAY 3". This is the double-edged sword I wrote. The "Tuesday" narrows the list of possible year, but probably it's not easy to know the place by brief-search.
(I've found the vintage label (badge?) with tabs at a shop site in about 2020, but currently cannot find both of the label and the shop.)

Where is the place in the photo (my reply on 19 March 2022 UTC)?

The photo is too blurry so there are few clues to work with. That is why this what-is-is stalled. I'll guess it is Miami Florida or San Diego California.

As Finis pointed out at the beginning, the width is important. We can know several details after corrected the horizontality (rotated along depth) and found a vanishing point (V).

- The road is sloping down a bit to the right because the reflection by the wet road is not vertical). That affects how we know the correct centerline of the whole street (vertical plane, green).
- The boundary between sidewalk and roadway seems not to be straight but curved because the parked cars (with little blur and unlit stop lamp) are on the rightward than the observable boundary.
- The width between two rows of the street light seems to be greater than the width of a single lane of the road. Perhaps it may be about the same as of two lanes or greater than it. (You might try to verify it using a brief 3D model!)
- The oncoming lane seems to be not on just left of the trees but located more leftward than that (i.e. almost out of the frame)

The wide area around the street light rows should be one of;
- Median strip with/without walkway.
- Railway (tramway).
- The third road lane.
- Others

Additional hints.
- The place is neither New York, Miami Florida, nor San Diego California, but in the USA.
- Tuesday May 3 before the year 1972 (=2022-50) are 1955, 1960, 1966, etc.(or earlier years after neon light, color slide film, and modern cars).
- I'm not so familiar with the history of the USA but guess that the "Vote" is calling on not to all voters but some sort of "new voters".
- The tall building (in the center of photo) has actually an almost flat roof (then and now). It might look like a hipped (i.e. a bit tipped) roof due to lens ghosting.

The blurred photo was taken in 1966.
Street lights with 3 bulbs, tram (streetcar) between lanes, palm trees, curved parking space, emergency staircases, the buildings...
The building with 3 windows per floor pointed by the left blue bag icon is the one that had the billboards on top.

- The tall building (center of the photo) is the Ritz-Carlton at the present time.
- The "Don't Flunk!" should be related to the Civil Rights Movement.
- The white neon sign at the foot of the building-top-billboards says "FACTORY OUTLET SHOES".
- The big red neon sign next to it is the F. W. Woolworth's five-and-dime store (after it moved from the corner near the Saenger Theatre. There was a sad building-collapse at the corner in 2019. The place is also related to the Civil Rights Movement)

-"WOOLWORTH" and "SHOES" (direction NW to SE)
-Post card
-The billboard. (see 11th and 12th photo in the first group, and find "wool" in the text)

japanese rice :) i dont know if they use a special kind. But those tools are for preparing the rice into a kind of food.

Yes, answers from you all are right.

It's a mallet for steamed rice to pound. The glutinous rice used is more sticky (and a little expensive) than regular rice. We Japanese use this wooden mallet with a mortar to make rice cake "mochi" especially in December to prepare for the new year.

Mochi matches well with soy sauce and Nori (dried and seared seaweed sheet often used for Sushi), or soybean flour mixed with sugar, etc. Burned, boiled, or freshly pounded mochi is slightly stickier than a marshmallow and stretches well when we eat.

I actually saw the preparation of that during (czech-)japanese spring festival here in Prague. I think they even let ppl help with beating the rice :) Its very interesting way to to make food :D Tasted ok :)

At first glance, I thought it was a can and bottle opener, but the angle is different from them. That ratchet, I think I saw it in the corner of my toolbox number 17... No, It was at the bike parts shop or fishing tackle store?!

Judging from the direction of the notch on the main body, it seems that the tip part should be turned about +180 degrees to use it. The hook doesn't look like it would fit on a bicycle chain, it's too rugged to be a tool for fixing the brakes of a bicycle open, and it looks weak to be fixed to the edge of a boat.

My answer: A tool for hooking the band brake wire when repairing the rear wheel of a bicycle?!

My first thought was of the can opener with C-Rations. I think it is a can opener that functions like a ratchet.

ya, it was easy... But I have usually seen different kinds of can openers, never like this one (in american or other movies or anywhere).
The spike cuts thru the metal and that cog/teeth part grips the side of the can so the cutting spike can move. The front rotates for it to work ofc.

A lever mechanism to open the first hole (a one-hand type I often see like this photo) cannot be seen in yours. How can you add large power downwards and open the first hole?

it is a pointy spike. So you just push it down thru or smack it and it pokes a hole in the metal to start the process. Then you hold a can with one hand and grab side of the can with those teeth on the opener and do back and forth motion with your opener hand. It works very well :)

nice! I had that one when i was in the military. You can have it just on a keychain. Most of can openers are too complicated :)

Think I paid thirty cents for this can opener several decades ago, still have it for camping.
I most likely spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on different can openers for the home that mostly do not work!

The combination of the first item (cog/teeth, spike, handle, and the motion) is interesting. The person who invented it must be a genius.

trueBlue's one with a pressed line on the handle seems to be really the smallest and simplest. I've ever seen similar one with a heart shape wing (like a wing screw) but was more thick and heavy.

Wow, what is this.... It looks like the almond tree shaker from the Chip 'n Dale picture book.

The two protruding wheels are lopsided rather than centered. So. rach arm of them may rotate horizontally around a vertical axis. Its wheels apparently rotate horizontally but its axle is thin and cannot support heavy object.

A medium size tire that does not touch the ground, another one on the other side touches the ground, Why? Eight set of motor(?) with round black case and belt(?), parallel links for vertical move, fingered flange pairs touching downwards, shuriken shaped flange pairs touching horizontally, there is another set of them above, two gearshifts per each part, small yellow box for that has not so large capacity but a pipe or hose is connected to its cap.

As a vehicle, the wiper is on the rear side if the side mirrors are on the front. Blinkers near the driver seat, Taillights, Ladder to access the upper part. The large yellow box above also has not so large capacity. The largest yellow box fixed to cage on the side of driver...

The capacity seems to be insufficient for sowing seeds, and it seems powerless to use for plowing work.
If it's a machine that harvests agricultural crops, mechanisms needed to process the collected things but there seems to be no such mechanism.
If a machine to sow liquid, shuriken-shaped flanges is not necessary.
It doesn't look like it could be used to remove snow or mud.

My answer: A machine that plucks unwanted roots after harvesting.

Bitkar is right with "seed spreader". It is a planting machine. Borgcone, you analyze these what is it's like I do, looking at the details for clues.

The arms fold above for storage. Seed is kept in two tanks ("John Deere" label) and blown by air into the small yellow tanks. From there the seeds are planted through tubes in the midst of the wheels and slicers. The "Demco" tanks on the sides of the tractor hold liquid fertilizer that is applied along with the seeds. The "shurikins" clean and spread the dirt, the tube plants and fertilizes, then the "finger" wheels close the dirt over the seeds. Software provides much control and information for the farmer, prevents reapplying on areas already seeded/fertilized, and can drive the tractor on "auto steer".

Too luxurious for the competitive team shooting sports (Paintball, Airsoft, water-guns, etc.). The cheap-looking screws are probably to prioritize maintainability. As opposed to them, the fine mesh, the checkered weave, and the specially made bronzing parts are classy. The mesh evokes thoughts of scale armors or chain mails, but it doesn't look like it can be used in fencing-like matches. If "SN" on the visor is a serial number (and if it's not a faithful reproduction of a fictional character's belongings), it must have been mass produced.

My answer is: One of props for cosplay (but what character?)

its carbon fiber, its not heavy for sure. I would think this is an F35/F22 helmet :D very expensive for very expensive plane.

The ultimate augmented reality system allows the pilots to see through several cameras around the plane. Essentially to see through the plane -- see below just by looking down. Sometimes called "eye of God". Pilots in this article however preferred to just look out normally except at night.

Cheap motel dirty plastic cup would be too easy so that's not it.

Size: no clues. Probably is plastic. It is covered with a texture. That could bed for fingers to grip it. It is translucent. There are ribs inside. A cup would not need that structure. The ribs look practical rather than decorative.

It could be a knob for some device. It slips over a rod and the ribs fit into grooves in the rod so you can turn it. Something like this:

(In the old days, I saw stackable plastic cups with ribs like this. The ribs for the cup makes clearance to avoid sticking each other, but this one in 4.5 cm is small for a cup.)
My first impression was an end-cap opener for fishing rods, but the ribs seem not have enough strength to turn something fastened tightly. It's not burned nor melted for a candle holder.

My answer is: An eyepiece holder (for microscope/telescope), or a single cork holder.

I have a bit strange impression for the image. The base material seems a corrugated cardboard but the relief of crossed-out wheelie-bin symbol has not a ragged outline but rather clear chiseled contours for that paper.

It seems to be not a small sticker on a cardboard. If the material is metal/plastic/wood, it is difficult to explain the origin of uneven vertical stripes. Of course you wouldn't post a 3D scene.

Whatever the material, some questions remain in my mind. Why is it embossed rather than printed (improving accessibility for the optically challenged people)?, and How can this information alone identify what it is?, etc.

If there is a thick black line underneath the recycling symbol, I can tell it is non-historic WEEE, but at any rate, all I know at this point is that it is electrical or electronic equipment probably made in the EU.

My answer is: A transportation box for a 3D printer??

You guessed it when you said "relief of crossed-out wheelie-bin symbol". That's what I was trying to capture. It's very small, only about 6mm so the only way I could see it was to photograph it with my camera as with the naked eye I couldn't tell what it was, and that's why you see the vertical texture. It's on the back of my tv remote. It took me awhile to realize this was a symbol to indicate to user to do not despose of in your trash bin. I'm not sure why as the batteried are removable (2 AA).

The size is shown but the handle. The brass semicircle's function was mysterious until I saw the bar in the lower right. The bar rotates over the semicircle to hold the panel closed. The pink and purple parts unfold when opened. It does not seem designed to use those parts like a bellows for an accordion like instrument. The wooded pins or slats, I'll call them keys, must be the controls. Maybe there is a similar set on the other side. They don't look like they slide or turn. Pressing on a key could raise a pin whose head is one of the white dots. Tapping a key could make the upper and lower parts collide to make a click. Since the keys are the same size I think they would make the same click which is not musical.

If it is a non-musical machine then I have no guess.

I'll guess that it is a musical instrument that functions similarly to an accordion. The pink and purple parts are pumped to push air through hidden reeds or such and the keys make different notes.
