What clues are in the photo?

When? Autumn. Some trees have no leaves but there is green grass near the cars and visible through the boat window.

Where? I believe this is in the USA. The house style, mix of trees, and the presence of a corvette and possibly a pickup truck support this as does Santa's American style costume and the other man's cap and clothes. The house style and trees also support this being in the eastern USA. There are no mountains visible however the overcast sky, Santa has his hood up, the glossiness of things, and water on the dock indicate rain that could reduce visibility. It is not in Florida or other far south states because it is cold enough for coats.

What is the boat? There are plaques and a sign so the boat has a place in history or other importance. There are no signs of wear, it is meticulously painted and clean, and there is no soot on the exhaust pipe so it is not used often.

Mystery clues. There are no visible tires or other "bumpers" to keep it from rubbing on the dock yet there are no scuff marks on the boat's side. There are no rails on the edges and the deck is flat except for a short wall in the back. That seems unsafe.

Don't know what these clues add up to. Thinking ...

Maybe a fish restaurant or a bayside sushi bar, since the boat seems to be static.

In other news, toy 'Kentucky Rifles' are $64 on Amazon.
I'm sure my folks didn't pay anything even close to that much for mine circa 1973.
The stock was broken but I kept it right up until this year's semi-purge of the attic.

Known locally as a "Swear Ball",
What It Is is a handheld, globe-shaped 3D (of course) marble maze.
Officially titled a 'Perplexus' , there are several versions available retail or at your international GooglAmaZon store.

A spinthariscope is a device for observing individual nuclear disintegrations caused by the interaction of ionizing radiation with a phosphor.
When I was a kid someone showed me this device. When you look into it (after 15 minutes of darkness for your eyes to adjust) this is what you see...

I hope I don't grow a third eye from the radiation!... :o

never seen it before... so its hard to guess, when you are not aware of its existence. Its nice tho, now i know something more.
It sounds superscientific, but its just glowing phosphor, which i think everybody had some glowing thing made from it :)

Answer:
Antique Pocket Watch Anti Theft Device

It is to prevent the theft of your pocket watch from pickpockets the acorn conceals three spring loaded spikes and when a would be pickpocket pulls on the chain to try to remove the watch from a pocket, the spikes propel and catch in ones clothing. :bananadevil:

Something tells me this is not a blade that you swing however....

It would be a great knife to perform 10 circumcisions at once!
It could be for cutting small saplings trees or bamboo.

There is a pin connected to a string so I think the handle can be removed.

If it isn't a blade
It looks like the user pushes on the handle instead of swinging. Cutting Ice blocks?
I'm still thinking....... :bananatyping:
