Here is an imported, textured model in TS workspace to show the result from my post in the thread

I separated random patches from the jigsaw terrain, extruded them, then smoothed and distorted with remesh modifier to make the protruding rocks. I imported the model as an obj. This whole project took about an hour. This is just a test. I don't plan on doing anything with it.

I like it! just some random shrubs around the place and it would look great!
