NigeC's cheapo pen - I like it! A little more detail and you could say it's a picture.
Is it dribble? GI?

I used Rayman's Light Tent HDRI, which he did for Kerkythea but seems to work ok in TS. yes its Dribble
I'm getting a lot of crashes but I've always had that with this AMD dual core pc, I ment to turn a CPU off but forgot lol
I plan something better, that's "just enter something" pic lol

Thanks :)
the bike, bomb and bike shocker used Kerkythea, the bike exhaust vase was Yafaray, Mad Max car, the picture of lily , shopping trolley where Carrara

A lot of the early SMC's rendered in light works only used the local light in TS library with the shadow set high and brightness high, dunno why but I like that light's effect

Kerky is a bit of a mess about, you have to redo the materials.Yafaray takes time to get it right, Lightwork iis a lot quicker and its easier to see the results, Marcel has done some awesome work in lightworks, also Wizard, a good example is here:

Kartoghen, I'd liked your model, the tint it's looking very realistic and is the first in this SMC using other soft, and a good use! ;)

Today I'll post other model, and one or two will come after, sorry if I'll flood much this SMC, I'm very excited because is my first SMC!!! :superbanana:

Kartoghen my first is too conceptual and don't looks much realistic, your image is certainly better than my first ;)
Say what do you think about my second entry.

15 mins long? just wait until your into hours or days lol, I have a friend who does panoramic games and it takes her a week to render out 6 images from Vue, but they are amazing images, lot of detail

Thanks Nigec,

The render takes 1 hour and 15 minutes, I think it's slow just for a pen... But I hope create detailed scenes like your friend one day :)

I decided to play around with yafaray a little more and found photon mapping. I lost my original fluid sim in the save and when I reloaded the scene it was a huge sphere. So I replaced it with a real quick 5 minute fluid. I wante dto share this render even though the SMC is more about the model and speed because I was shocked by the difference photon mapping can do.

I'm in. Accu must make a judgment call on the time limit. I saw a pen with a spiral tapered spiral body and based this on on it.

Other than adding my signature and cropping the picture this is 100% TS 7.6 model side. There aren't even any pictures for textures. Edit: There was an image for the HDRI light.

I don't think there's a problem... what if you had spent two full days experimenting with spiral tubes, a few months ago? It counts as experience. Some of us made pens/pencils before (see images). Why do you think I chose this subject? I remember I liked making writing instruments. Now if only I could get to making another one for this SMC...

Here is a tut for candlelight from Moonman. Not sure how good it is.

http://www.icecreamhasnobones.org/imagewip/tut/"

I can not remember all the details but, I thought there was a way to add a layer mask to the projector or Spot lights that would only allow light to pass through specific areas and caste shaddows of the mask in others. Someone has more details.

It's 26 - 23:59:59.99 (the end of 26)... or you could say 27 - 0:00. Something like that, anyway.
This time I will be here to post the poll, but not at the exact time. :)
