My Notes:
Regarding their terms and how they relate to model use in shared spaces / OurSpaces whether for free use or commerical use:
As stated above:
"3. This model may be used in any commercial way only if it is a part of artwork or project."
In every instance this would be the case when including such models into a shared space, whether the shared space is used for personal, public, or commercial usage.
All shared spaces are in fact "artwork," and furthermore all shared spaces are in fact each a "project" of the Artist who makes them available.
In no instance would a single model in a scene be considered a usable shared space scene, such scenes are always comprised of many models, never a single model. So the use of a model among many other models inside a shared space scene would not violate these terms as stated at all.
Also as stated in the terms to further clarify this intent:
"Single reselling or redistribution of this model is prohibited."
Note that they could have simply and more easily stated that **ALL reselling or redistribution is prohibited,** but they did not, that was clearly not their intent. *They clearly do intend* to allow reselling and redistribution of any of these models, just not as a "Single" "model," in other words, to combine any of these models makes reselling and redistribution fine by them, just don't resell or redistribute a single mesh by itself.

Yeah, the EASY terms on that site and the FABULOUS quality and quantity of the models is just perfect for us to whip up scenes with in a heartbeat, very handy when you are modifying a scene in realtime for a client you are standing in a scene with !froo wrote:Very Nice find Mark. Thanks!
That should be enough models to help anyone whip up shared space scenes in no time at all!

Objects at other sites in the ".max" format are only usable inside 3d studio max, but max has another output format which authors often use which is ".3ds" and that format is importable into trueSpace modelside.
