I'm in desperate need of a version of Truespace 4, I had been using truespace from version 2 up till version 4 for doing renderings of cabinets. I stopped doing that now for a few years now. I started getting back into it recently but my software was stolen after a breakin at my house. I've tried to use 7.6 but its way different than version 4 and I don't have the time to re-learn it. I will probably learn 7.6 eventually but I really need my version 4 back (yep, I am begging)
any help is welcome
thx

Re: Help
I don't know if it helps, but you can pick the 3.2 version for free download.
I know what you mean, it's hard learn the 7.6. But is better you start learning it now.

Re: Help
I downloaded 3.2 but I can't find a working serial. The link to Caligari serial page isn't working, 3 was a good version but 4 had better rendering and more features that made things easier. I found a couple of version of 5 on the net but I never used 5. is it much different than 4? or does it have the newer look?

Re: Help
I have the 3.2 serial here, I could pass by PM...
The 5 isn't much different from the 4 (as I know), and about the rendering you could do the models at 3.2 then import it on 7.6 and render at a great quality of the Lightworks Render.

Re: Help
Why not just use 7.6 and STAY on the "Model Side". (tS6.8)
It's a lot like tS4 but with a better rendering engine. There
are more incons to select from... But spend a little time
and re-learn just the ones you need. If you know 3 or 4
this shouldn't be so hard....

Re: Help
I agree with Jimmer. Use TS 7.x model side. Turn the bridge off. The UI is very much like TS 5 but there are more abilities. Model side is TS 6.6 plus HDRI and a few other things. I like TS 5 but I now use TS 7.x model side for most things.
I still prefer the subdivision surface system in TS 5 if I'm going to edit the control mesh while seeing the SDS result.
