A scene with nothing in it.
Now if I could only figure out why it crashes when I switch on volumetrics.
Oh yeah, and add something instead of nothing.

Picked away a little more on this.
Getting the right part of the reflection to show up in the mirror took a lot of trial and error; mostly error.
Need something better to reflect, I don't think the barn is quite right.

Hi.. spacekdet..
Rely nice scene... Very Moody..
I like the barn in the reflection.. I think if you lit up the barn
so it looks like a nice sunny day it would make excellent contrast and
make the scene even eerier.. That is if you can brighten up the barn
reflection without brightening up the rest of the scene..
Very nice work! Keep it up!
Cheers

Ranger I think you are one to something there. Should not be a problem to have a sunny day reflection in the mirror. It would require a whole new scene render, then save that as a image, then just apply that image to the mirror as the reflection. So that would be easy.

Looks good. Surreal. If the mirror has a bright scene should light from it shine onto the dark ground?

Re: A doodle about nothing
It's an actual reflection in the mirror, no cheating.
Might be too bright now.
Added projector light to see if it would simulate bounced light coming off the mirror. Most of it is falling off camera due to the mirror/ light angle.
Worth a shot, anyway.
Still crashing when I switch on advanced volumetrics, and the dreaded 'error saving scene' message keeps showing up.
Pretty sure it's whacked geometry in the displacement-mapped ground objects.
Full size here.

Maybe a spherical mirrored object would help reflect more of the scene. Nice work though.spacekdet wrote:Picked away a little more on this.
