Just to know... It's easy a hacker/cracker enter in the computer by the server? I would like to create a casual server (Accessible just in events), but I need to know if is secure... Anyone had any invasion by the Shared Space?
Thanks

Re: Any Security Issue?
there are ways always to break in or do damage at a server no matter how well it is guarded... humans design the protections and humans do overlook things or not consider things that haven't been invented yet. So the best protection is ultimately having backups of all the whole hard drives used on a computer stored somewhere other than on the same computer, and also using "restore points" in case something occurs. Even restore points are often overwritten by malicious code though, so again, back up everything often and place it somewhere other than the computer being used for the server.leonregis wrote:Just to know... Re: Any Security Issue?
well, I enjoy the reverse-hack approach.
If a hack is detected, I just access all their personal records and wipe their identity
from existence. That way they no longer exist, according to all records. Sure you see
them, but do they Truly exist?
Or for an extra kick, I'll just add 'terrorist allegiance' ties to their records. That'll teach em
to mess with OurSpace!
Ok ok I'm not serious. Just in a dark mood muwahahah...
