U3DA Graphic Art Challenge - December 2012 - 3D Haiku
3D Haiku
Model an object or objects so the scene has a total of exactly 17 polygons.
- There can be a ground and/or background plane for an environment that don't count in the polygon total unless you want them to.
- Polygons can be any shape.
The Rules:
1) You can use any software.
2) You may create as many entries as you like but each must be a separate project.
3) No pre-made models of any sort.
4) Post your entry in this thread. For each entry include:
-- One finished image or animation no larger than 1024x768 or 1080p.
-- One wire frame.
-- One WIP thread link. (Optional)
Dates and Deadlines:
The challenge begins now - December 15, 2012 and ends on December 31, 2012 at midnight in your location.
The poll will start on January 1, 2013 and end on January 5, 2013.
Organization:
Main Contest Thread, this thread, is reserved for the theme, rules and the posting by contestants of entries.
Comments Thread. A thread for general discussion will be created for this challenge.
Poll Thread. A poll thread will appear on the day specified above.

Hexagon and Carrara 8 Pro beta
Since there were no rules on exactly how many points and sides a polygon consists of, I took liberties. Of course the object is welded, so it is one object of 17 polygons floating free in the ethereal existence of the mind.
