MMC 12/2010 Nightmare Before Christmas Wrapped

Post by Finis »

I'll bet the man who has everything doesn't have a porcupine! Now to to wrap it.

When I use model side vertex paint the quill texture turns white. I can't apply the quill texture again either. The white with vertex paint stays forever. Any suggestions?

I'm guessing 'balloon wrap' is out of the question. Smirkingly good concept. :)

I've never used vertex paint but there was a plugin for gamespace for removing them. It can be found on this page from the wayback machine

Thanks everyone.

Steinie, have at it! Well, not for the MMC but I would like to see your imagination applied to this theme.

James, I'll remember that one for "disaster waiting to happen" MMC. Hmm, should put that in the MMC idea thread.

I removed the vertex paint and regained the ability to apply textures but saving and loading the quills and dxf objects. Then I customized a quill texture image with blood and applied it.

Not time for more so this one is my entry.
