I noticed last night and today that the forum had a large number of people online at once. Guests. Few registered users logged in. Forty or more. A record of over 70 was set. I'm curious about what they were looking at. Is there a way to see the "most viewed" of the recently viewed posts? Can moderators find this info.?

I noticed that too. 22 out of 30 something people browsing the Repositorium subforums. Not sure what thread specifically.

I just hope you have to be a member to download the things here.
I'm not sure if the downloads are invisible to visitors but they should be. I remember steine or someone saying images wouldn't show so setting were changed in forum.

Someone with admin access could look at the hit counters in cpanel to see what pages had a lot of visitors. I'm not suspecting anything bad. Just curious about the sudden interest in the forum, what is attracting them, and why none of them have registered.

There has been more discussion of 3D Printing here and a new wiki thread for that so it could be Thingyverse.

Yes, much to the dismay of many members including me the images uploaded here were made invisible unless you are logged in. Hostgator provides "unlimited" bandwidth for us so cost is not a factor.

It would seem that Truespace has a lot of passive interest. I see similar activity on the Truespace section of my own modeling forum. Quite a few people download the files that I host. Even non members can download as well. I've always suspected that more people then will admit have a basic interest in what most of us already know from using TS that it's a pretty good product to play around with.

Now it is strange. The guest blitz continues with large numbers visiting but no one registering. There were 40+ online and I checked each major forum category and none had a lot of visitors. Who has access to cpanel? Check the hit counters to see what pages are popular lately.

I seriously doubt it..

There might just be seeing this still as "active" and developing and with some cool art still being built by us, and maybe they are just researching. I could be idealistic, but I guess that's all right.

I do wonder why the surge in visitors started recently, none have registered, they seem to sit on the main page (admin check hit counter?), and what attracted them to the forum.

Hey, you new visitors! Someone register and post telling why you are here! You are welcome here of course. I'm just curious.
