Model or material problem

Post by Wigand »

Can someone tell me what the problem is with this object?
In the picture you see something like shadows on the object, but this can not be.

Looks to me that this is your Gear Mesh generator script?
You need to add the UV's to all of the faces in your script.
Or you can use the Flatten History
MeshModifiers.FlattenNodes('')
and Faucet Normals commands.
MeshModifiers.FacetedNormals('')

honestly I do not know if it is generated with my generator
Definitely it would be a modified object because of the teeths on the left side.

Facet Normals
helped

Thank you trueBlue :D
