XSI exporters for Blender, GMAX and Anim8or 3D.
I had quite a lot of luck getting other people to create various Battlezone 2 Combat Commander XSI version 1xx exporters for a few modeling programs. Special thanks go to Redall Brent, Kaja, Tsvetan, Overmind, and Vearie for doing all the hard work of compiling the scripts themselves. I could not fight my way out of a paper bag as far as compiling exporter scripts, but these fine people managed to get it done. The scripts are in various states of development, but should be ready for basic testing for anyone who has an interest in trying them out. Forum link to the hosted scripts. PS: There are also Truespace X exporter scripts for TS that can be used to export X models to 3D Exploration for using it's XtoXSI file converter to do the same thing. Leroy, greetings to all btw.

This is great! Good job on getting a collab to productive hights! Legend! I know how hard it is to inspire people to do things cllaboratively and pasionately volunteerily!
So how is this XSI exporter? I use XSI a lot. Does it export X files? or does it help import/export emdl's or others? Can it be used outside your game development purposes?
Would be great to know how you are using it!

Alas, but no it's an old variant of the SI XSI text format. As far as I know only older games and software can actually use it. It's pretty much obsolete compared to today's SI format.Draise wrote:This is great! Good job on getting a collab to productive hights! Legend!
