Lazy Flu

Post by LeonRegis »

I'm with Lazy flu, I almost didn't progressed in my WIPs and I'm with none will to do anything than see TV and play games, see friends and play with my brothers. This is terrible because even with not will in the deph I want to so I feel guilty when a day pass and I do nothing.

This flu was caused by two things, the abnormal lazy rate that people normally have in the holidays, several trips to the beach and the new things I won in the Christmas. I hope be cured before next month starts to enjoy my last month of vacation doing a lot of 3D, thing that I hardly will do when at school.

But the strangest thing is that in some mornings I feel ok and do a lot of things, seems that I spend all my energy in the morning doing 3D, it's fantastic but would be better if I do it all day. :(

This morning was one of that, I finished the crew module (needs textures yet) and will start the launch rocket!

Wish you never catch this flu! ;)

Tortoise and the Hare...your the Hare.

You have a rocket project, a hanging village, MMC Challenge, and now you want to duel someone. It is better to focus on one thing at a time and finish it! You'll feel much better at the end. It sounds to me like you bore easily. Going out in the real world is better then what is offered here. We only serve artificial 3D icecream here...

You have what I call the "I would have- I could have- I should have bug" If you ever say those phrases you haven't accomplished anything.

No go out there and accomplish something!
I'm a lazy bug stomp-er! ;)

Yep, damn I did catch it!
I don't want to duel, but at least create the contest to them can duel in the future.

I have 3 Unfinished WIPs and 1 Semi-Finished (It's finished, but I want to improve small things)

Actually I'm doing all three at same time and two of them is equivalent to one (The MMC and the Village, because they are helping each other).

I gotta finish those!!! A bit aggressive but helps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMcxPTakmC8"

It is a good thing to do nothing when you have a lot of thing to do. A good thing to appreciate your next start. I do nothing during a week before to do something important and i work better after (the brain work more when we do nothing or when we sleep, it is scientific).

I have got it too!

I haven't done anything with TS for at couple of weeks and that I believe thats the life are. Sometimes you have to take a rest from something and do something else. I have been knitting the last weeks instead of working with TS. Despite this I have read the threads in tscommunity but have no strong will to fully dissapate. I come second on the december challange. That effort I'm proud of and congratualation to you Steine. You had done a good work as always.

My son call my stoneage taste of music "old man rockmusic". I love Pink Floyd "THE WALL". As a teacher this is my favorite song from that movie:

I never have been tired of looking at this movie.

I will come back and be more active in this community.

Working like a steam-powered boiler but instead smoke I'm dropping sweat.
Tommy you should know I'm totally eclectic and likes since classical songs to heavy metal, so Pink Floyd and the Progressive Rock are one of my best styles. The wall is really good but Delicate Sound of Thunder is definitely the best of Pink Floyd (At least in my opinion).

Genesis, Supertramp and (A bit late) INXS, I could fill this page with bands that I love, for some reason I can love all of them.

Yeah Marcel, I'm working really fast now! So I just discovered that the Lazy Flu isn't a flu itself, seems to be a chronic parasite, it will never be heal so we need to learn how to live with it but sometimes try to fight against it.

When I was young, I drew a lot by listening to Pink Floyd. Each generation has its music, but that one that remains the most important is that which made us grow. When I have a problem when I do not know what to do, I listen to this music and all going well. not because it's beautiful. because it's full of memories. it's my drug, my tobacco, my alcohol and this is not bad for health. I'm glad I lived through that era full of revolt, but full of humanity. when I'm old (I'm only 51 years) I would take my old pencil and listen pink floyd before becoming deaf and die happy. No, do not cry ...

Funny but I've took to listening to Black Sabbath while working.. honestly I don't know why lol, I always liked Comfortably Numb from the Wall..

I get moments were I just lose any form of creativity, it can last for months, my record is 7 months! it usually goes hand in hand with trying to do to much at once
