Great so far. I think he should be a comic book super villain. A mutant man with odd hands and head.

I you have lost interest in this model well ok. It will come back or you'll be inspired with a new project.

If you mean others aren't interested note that this thread has been viewed more than 70 times. People, me too, are watching. Other than "great", "wow", etc. there aren't many comments to make at this point since you're doing fine.

Another thought would be that it is the Christmas/Hannukkah season so many ppl will lurk at this time of year.

As for the suggestion for the feet, think goat or moose....

For me it's ok... but if this is going to be a beast you should make the style of the feet different from the hands, to make more stranger. It's just a though.

I would flatten down his toes, hunch up his back, with a more
towering pose. Also show a front view and a side view so that we can better
see the stance and proportions.
What problems are you having with textures in trueSpace? What program
will you use for texture creation? Is the problem textures or UVMapping?

No one responding has always been a problem and it not just your work. Everyone
here has felt the same way at some point while working on their WIP.
If we like it we tend not to comment or we are just too busy in real life. No reason to
stop. Your only hurting yourself.
Fungus creators are not my specialty so I couldn't comment.... ;)

hi pugman, :bananahi:

it's the holiday season, pugman. i know that's why i didn't respond - i glanced at your work - loved it - thought wow, i want to take a closer look at that next week. so sorry you felt no one cared about your work - really. i have been in the same boat - posted a question and had to beg for an answer. that's how i met leonregis by the way. he had no answer to my posted question but wanted to just let me know i was not alone in cyberspace. we have all been through the same thing - waiting for comments that never arrive...

i do love your power man model. he is a bit out of my style however. i like my monsters (or men) skinny and frail. or else round and overweight - haha. muscles are something i know nothing of...

just to bring up what steinie said awhile ago - how about having meetings on pugmanspace that would be for modeling and learning? kind of mini-tutorials? just an idea i thought was too good to be true - i would be very interested...

have a fantastic new year's eve and a prosperous and healthy new year!

patti :D

He's looking good.

I'm not sure about the feet. He has a 2-3-4 thing happening where he has things on his head in pairs, 3 fingers, and 4 toes counting the one in back. That's interesting. I think his feet should be bigger than his hands. Problem is his hands need to be big to increase the menacing look so his feet would be too big.

I'd like to see him with armadillo skin. The texture would have to be small (no big armor plates) so it wouldn't cover his muscles.
