My new house is haunted

Post by pugman 1 »

Hi all. i posted a while back that we got a new house very big 15 rooms ,for a while now we have been hearing strang noises
i put it down to being a old hous but our son says different .He sleeps on the 3rd floor its a big renovated roof space .In his bedroom he has a wooden floor
the door to his beroom is crooked and always closes alone it is not hung right it can not open alone .he tells me when he is
in bed the door slowly opens and he heers foot steps .I never blieved him untill 2 nights ago .We all went to bed about 10.30 at 2 i woke up to here foot steps
walking across the floor upstairs first i thought it was justin our son but then who ever it was was wearing shoes it was load .the next morning
i asked our son what it was he said the ghost it also rolled his alarm clock over the bedroom floor .
we also have a 2 year old little boy here when we sit in the front room whating tv he sudenly looks to the door and points at it saying da da da this means there there there
in english then he is laufing at it still pointing when we feed him in the dining room he does the same but he follows it around the room laufing.
This happens every night and there alot mor strange this to tell .
i have got a vidio cam to set up in the bedroom when i get a film ill post it with the rest of the happenings..

she saw a white shape fly by the cam i ran into the kitchen but saw nothing .it spooked the hell out of me .its not the cam that i need i need one what when somthing moves it
should start recording this cam i must manuley start it . now it is set up to whatch our sons bedroom door when he heres somthing he can turn it on .
hope we dont see anything .
justin our son told me that when he smokes in his pc room he blows the smoke to the window but the smoke parts and goes around somthing as
if there is someone sitting next to him .i do not want to see his underwear

Now THAT would be a house party! Hanging out with your 'shadow'... and he offers to get a fresh beer!

Probably would be a good idea to do a search on the history of the house just to see if it has an infamous history? Maybe ask some of other local residents that have lived there a long time to see if others have had similar stories to tell about what they might know. Keep us all informed about what you learn Pug. get salt, just in case. :)

I saw that TV series about that two brothers fighting the deamons. They always use salt to make a "wall" which deamons cannot pass and can be a good protection.
What was the name of the TV series?

Iam curious about the camera. Get some onboard camera for cars. They can turn on if movement is present in the view or they can loop-record until SD card is full, then it overwrites the oldes files (its like a bunch of 1 - 5 minute clips). Some of them have infrared LEDs to light up the scene in the dark. This could work 24/7 when plugged in power source. You just need to check the SD card sometimes.

Oh no! Cut off mid sentence. The ghost got him!

To answer an earlier question, "Supernatural" is the name of the show with the 2 brothers.

We have the same noises here in our house and its not
ghosts ..its what we call Marder here in Austria amd Germany..they make noises like walking people....they even fight with each other up in the attik!;)
The downside of these animals is that they love the electric system of the cars and do a lot of damage to it! Sounds spooky! But it isnt!

Rayman its not a marder i live in germany and know what they are .the attic space is renovated .
its a complete flat with bedroom, front room, bathroom, and a computer room no room for marders .
half of the hous is well over 100 years old the other half was added in the 70s so if any thing
happend in the old part it now has access to the rest of the house .
it carrys on last night justin spent the night at a freinds house .so in our house was just my wife and me and a 2 year old .
footsteps again up in justins appartment .the roof space ,at 2.45 in the morning .i had the camera recording up there .i thought to myself
this time ill see what it was but this morning i checked the files and saw nothing .the cam had also stopped recording for some reason
its starting to bug me .I must get a better cam .

Here's a sort of ghost story. Back around high school days one of my friends died when he was 17. He and other friends went camping and hiking. One morning they found that he had passed on that night. Years later I was driving past an apartment building in another town. There he was standing on a balcony. Broad daylight. Not blurry. Of course it was someone who looked like him ... wasn't it? If I was a ghost that's how I would visit my old buddies.

Sounds like it has gotten serious? It may be time to consult with a religious person like a Pastor or Priest to bless the house. I'm not really overly spiritual but the issue is very real from what little that I do understand about ghosts and such.

While I'm reading the last post (and playing Spacekdet's post) my wife walks by and I tell her about the haunted
house in Germany.

She replies "is the house haunted by Janis Joplin ?"
Thanks Spacekdet....

Thanks for keeping us up to date Pugman1 because I find this very interesting! (however I don't believe in Ghost),
and I can't stop watching all those Haunted House tv shows.

Proof, I need proof! Can I take a shower in your house?

well. dont use an IP cam, use something like a car dashcam. They usually record to loops (until SD card is full) or some can trigger recording by a movement seen in the field of view or a G-sensor can trigger it aswell. I have one, it has pretty good picture, even in low light. It was not expensive. But you will have to plug it somewhere for the power. Maybe you can just bring a car battery home and wire it, so you have 12V. Or use some kind of converter from 230V at home to a car-like power.

ya, first you need less compression, so you can se better picture. Second - a sound would be nice to have too, not only picture :-/

Is there a window behind the camera? could be a light coming thru that window? Looked like some reflection/refraction or something.

It looks like dust in tiny air currents. Fuzzy or blurry because it is too close to the lens. The particle's path could cause it to appear, move, and disappear as it approached and then moved away from the camera. I'm not saying there are or aren't ghost's. Rather, how can you find convincing or informative evidence about what is happening in your house or evidence that whatever is happening it is quite unusual? Some possibilities are: nothing is happening, it is supernatural, it is unknown nature, it is part of known nature.

If the phenomenon is in fact supernatural (spirits from beyond, souls staying "between", physical phenomena but not entirely of our universe) then efforts to use the known physics/rules of our world to understand it are unlikely to succeed since supernatural things would not be bound, or entirely bound, by this world's nature.

If it is an effect of something natural to our universe that we don't understand (unknown nature) then we may or may not have the means or knowledge to examine or understand it or to apply science. Those occasions when we succeed in this advance our knowledge.

It could be a product of known natural phenomena within the functioning of the universe as we understand it now. In this case it the possibility of making observations that can solve the mystery is greater as is the ability to use science. It also may be too complex or we don't currently have means to measure/observe appropriately to learn anything.

If nothing is happening, nothing special anyway, then it is normal unconnected things plus confirmation bias about what the things mean. Confirmation bias is consciously or unconsciously seeking to confirm the result you want instead of accepting what the evidence means.

It would be difficult to apply the scientific method with a hypothesis of "ghosts are doing things in my house". What about reasonably convincing evidence that something unusual is happening? First, avoid confirmation bias. Some fuzzy blob means that there is no information there. Although unscientific apply some of the principles. Try to disprove the "hypothesis" rather than prove it. Apply maximum skepticism. "What could cause this other than ghosts?" "Does this observation mean anything at all?" "Are my measurements or observations valid/correct/accurate?" Seek multiple observations of the same event. Two cameras seeing the same area. Record sound too. Did two people hear it or see it? Did microphones record it at the time people heard it? Etc.

Wow finis , that was deep but makes sense .thats why i put ? at the end i also think mabey dust ,
im waiting for things to move that will be enough proof for me , as for sound that could alwasy be faked not enough
proof if i posted sound.
i hear the footsteps so does my wife and three of the foster children that have slept here .
also the doors opening alone when they always fall shut because there hung crooked .
doors slaming when no windows are open and lots more

well i hope you can film some doors closing... or something at least...

but as for the sound, yes it could be fake, but could connect with the picture... what i mean:
1. would be easier for you to find something in the video by just looking at the audio waveform
2. if there is a sound, you will know its not just a dust particle right in front of the camera - so you will know that THAT thing (whatever that will be) on the picture is making THIS sound. Its up to us to believe it or not. If its a dust particle or just light, it wont make any sound. So its just one more clue.

Some fuzzy stuff on video can be fake too. Its not a problem to make a blurred thing in after effects, hitfilm or something and post it in the video.

The only blurred I caught on camera was a bunch of women in a mall rushing to a close out sale. :bananadrum:

Why aren't ghosts naked?
Clothing doesn't have a soul so how does it make it to the other side?

The foundation of your house is probably connected physically by rock formation to the street, railway line or bridge that vibrates the sensor enough for it to come on.

brings me an idea, to set up a "trap" from lights with a motion sensor.... buy few of them (cheap ones can be ok)... like 5-10. Set it down the hallway or some good space where you can see near an far from one camera spot. If that thing can trigger it you could maybe see the movement = triggering the lights placed 1 meter from each other down a hallway one by one in one direction in sequence.

Play this loudly so the ghost, like Janis, knows it's time to 'move over' to the other side.

Aww, your youtube is gone. I liked the ghost videos.

Here is a strange thing. Not ghosts but has that strangeness similar to reports of the supernatural. One window has an old screen with a wooden frame that is barely attached the window frame yet it never blows off even in fierce wind. There is sometimes broken glass on the ground under there but the window is never broken.

Yes Finis i had t take my chanel down. me and my women are foster parents for chidren in need ,or when the
parents go off the rails a bit . we are the first stop for the kids ,age from 2- 18 ..somtime the child agencey checks us out
to see if every thing is still ok here ,if they see my house has a spook or strange thing hapening they will stop sending the kids here.
Its strange becaus some of the children here stuff as well and ask us what it was i must lie to them becuase i cant explain it .
but the stuff goes on .

You could have deleted only the ghost videos. They are what I liked but the drone and health stuff would probably be positive to the child agency.
