Highest temperature today was about -14 which is quite cold for this time of the year here.
The coldest I have experienced was -43 degrees Celsius in 1999 (
), but that was further north of here. I can honestly admit that I didn't more than collected the mail those 3 days when it was below forty... the 3 km walk to the university in -30 that was the "warmth" that followed wasn't to funny either. I actually had to visit the post office that was halfway to defrost... 
So current -20 is actually quite warm even if it feels cold enough. Hope you have it warmer where you are.
