Hey everyone! Happy New Year!
It finally snowed here East of the Rockies. I drove around our house; we're near
the airport; it is northeast of us so there is a lot of ranch land. Took some nice pics.

more; these show the 'other side' of Green Valley Ranch: northeast of this area (more north than east), is the Denver International Airport. Lots of ranch land here. I like the lone tree in the field.

There is a nice pic here of some evergreen trees around the houses. If this snow came a week earlier we would have had a white Christmas.
Also there are 2 snaps of yours truly.
BTW I agree; I do not use Facebook that much either; it's good to get in touch with long lost friends though. For that, it's handy.

you got a lot of snow there ! I like the pictures very much. We dont see that much of where and how
our friends here live and how the place looks where they live.....

The lone tree is magnificent!
It looks like there is plenty of 'elbow room' there on the ranch.
Here, the January Thaw came a couple days early... our snow vanished and my beautiful skating ice is all rotten and unsafe.

Check these out... when we came out here in January 2010, we took some pics of downtown Denver, as well as Aurora CO. It was cold then too!

I´m in a city here too and no snow just pretty cold well not so cold as somewhere else but cold enough.
I took those pictures a month ago and yes she was sleeveless... with goosebumps and 2 from my trip to the not so far away Venice (a few hours by car ) in November.... vi ... 139#p23139"
