52 playing cards with high resolution textures REPACK

Post by DesignDevil »

Hi together.

Today i needed playing cards and i could find good high resolution textures in professional quality. So i himself created a set of 52 high resolution textures (930 x 1433), one for each card. Also included is a transparency map and one texture for the backside of the cards. For easier use i also included a tS 6.6 scene file (tS7.x MODELER !) with all card's "ready to play".

Impressive!!

The only thing I am thinking about is to make more space around the figures on the cards. They seems to continue outside the card. A little more space around the figures and they will be Great!

This is outstanding quality artwork here even by professional standards, did you actually draw the characters on these or is that excellent clipart?

very well done! thanks for these! :bananacheers:

Wow, these are really great. Did you do all the artwork yourself?

What license are these released under? I would like to use them in a game.

Regardless, I love the designs. You did really great work.

Well, the design of the card images is not made by me. These are scanned and "redefined" playing cards (from germany). I don't believe that it is a problem to use this (not from my side).

There are a lot of other images available via image search on the net.

I just created these because i needed high resolution images. For a game i think is the texture size to big.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Could you tell me the brand of the playing cards you scanned? I haven't seen them before, but I really like the design.

Thanks again.

Is there any problem in using the cards in our cards.dll which is licensed as LGPL? I am from the ReactOS operating system project and wanted to make the look of our cards a bit more modern and less 16 color like. I cut the borders away and reduced the size to about 112x72 px. Any problems in using it there from your side? (That question came up after I already misinterpreted your free to use as, "sure I can add them". Well I was taught that that's not the case in general.)

If you are inerested in it's look:
