Hi, am i correct in assuming thare is a 4096 frame limit in motionStudio. This seems to be the case on my PC. The modeler frames will alow more than this but not MoStud.

I dont need that many frames, i have a 1600 frame anim, but need to move a heap of frames to sync things up to music.

My anim starts moving the skele at frame 44, but it should start at 85, and it drifts, timing wise [starts early, finishes late, relative to the music] i think this is because it was the first anim i made using MoStud, and i had it set to 30 FPS, where as all other anims were made using 25 FPS, i may be wrong. But i digress.

MoStud wont allow a copy , then erase, then repaste, as it clears the clipboard it seems, and nothing happens when i paste.

Only solution is to Copy the frames i want to move, paste later in anim, then erase the original frames, recopy later frames then repaste them where i want them.

any work around to the frame limit?

I love MoStud but hate it just as much!! lucky im a patient fellow!

The 4096 frames limit is correct. No workaround for that (maybe a hack in the TSX file???)

It's always better to split a animation in more short parts. Better for tS, for MoStu and also for you - prevent tS crashes. 4096 Frames with 30FPS are 136 seconds of film (2,2min).

MoStu doesn't uses a clipboard to Copy / Paste - keep this in mind (see help file). You can just mark the frames that you want to copy, then click on COPY, choose the destination frame and click PASTE. MoStu now copy the frames. After that you can erase the old frames (if needed).

BTW, the primative itch site doesnt have the help file for MoStud, could you tell me where i could obtain this please.

I understand the COPY PASTE thing. I hope that you understand my answer. It is normal that it work in this way.
