U3DA Graphic Art Challenge - December 2012 - Everything Hobbit - PUT YOUR COMMENTS HERE

All things that are Hobbit

This is a total freelance operation. A combination of 3D and 2D or 3D only - just as long as it includes something that could be Hobbit-like.

Can be your own interpretation of Hobbit-ness or classical Hobbit-ness.

Here's my own work (not an entry) of a Hobbit House I whipped up yesterday. Working on a Hobbit wizard, for the scene, but it's slow in progress.

Very Cool Subject this month.

I think I found another use for Sculptris this Month.

(Come to think of it, everyone should be able to enter this time since this Month's Challenge Subject covers a lot of favorite items/scenes from our Members.
Dragons, swords, cottages, swamps, bad food, bugs, intestinal parasites... intestinal parodies....etc.

I like this theme. Good hobbit house too. The real world is keeping me busy lately but maybe I'll do something. That would reduce Blender learning time but so far I haven't even downloaded it.

Question: Can I use Daz to make a character? I would then make his clothes from scratch. In a sense such a character would be similar to Bryce trees, made with a tool but, if it is within the rules, I would still be concerned that voters might think it was the same level as characters made from scratch like with Sculptris. No problem if it is not ok. Plenty of non-character things to do or maybe try out Sculptris (it is free right?).

Yup, you can use it all including Daz contents. This is all about presentation of all things hobbit. You can't take the ring off until you've reached the destination.

I want to do an entry but I have little time. So, I might try something without a character. Have to think of something simple.

I usually don't talk about who I voted for but this month all three entries were great. When the time came
to vote and forced to vote for ONE I just had to cast it towards Finis's amazing accomplishments. (except for
his stupid rigid towels...

)
I wanted to enter this Month badly however I am updating an entire Kitchen at home after waiting 17 years.
Anyone spare a dime?

It's worse than that. They are supposed to be cloaks. If I knew Blender I would have used a cloth simulation.
