Looking for a way to convert .max or .obj - need shuttlecock
I have found a free shuttlecock for badminton (need the racket too, but that will come next). The only issue is that the object is in either .obj or .max - and neither one is usable in TS. Any ideas?

Hi David. Found the link here...
If you have the ts 7.61 version which includes Model and Workspace, you can
import OBJ from Model side. I think you can still get that version. Otherwise,
there is the free OBJ package developed by ChMar. I believe one caveat is, only triangulated
meshes can be imported, and only triangulated meshes are exported. I could be wrong.

Or, you could purchase the OBJ Importer/Exporter plugin for the Workspace side of trueSpace,
available at truespaceplugins.com and truesourceshop.com. The plugin does not automatically
triangulate on export, and there is no problem with importing non-triangulated meshes.
I hope one of these solutions works out for you.

Old versions of 3DMax are available to import into TS as 3DS files. OBJ files may be imported into model side 6 of v. 7 and the whatever that other side is called
with a OBJ plug-in written by Froo available at his Website.
Froo is fast and I heard a bit furry!
Yes, what Froo said.

thanks but do you have a link for FROO and his plugin?
I found the other link that you provided, but I am unsure how to INSTALL it. I am more of a TS 6.6 guy.

Hi David.
If you have the version of 7.61 B8 that has the Model side and Workspace side, you can switch to the Model side
and import using the LUUV plugin that is free with that version of 7.61 B8, or use the builtin truespace importer.
Furry, james?
links for Froo's OBJ importer/exporter:

I have it on good authority that the below image is froo sneaking out of the programmer's dark place.
