DD Visibility Recorder

Hi All!

I wanted to share this excellent tip which was given to me by DesignDevil.

Instead of adding all of the various objects (mouth shapes, in my case) one at a time into the DD Visibility Recorder plugin, do the following:

Glue all of the shapes as Children to a Parent object. Once done, just select the main object and click add in DD Visibility Recorder.
You should then notice that each of the Child objects show up individually for selection.

Adding a single grouped object is a huge timesaver.

In addition, the parts all "travel" together as the translation/rotation keyframing is done to the main parent object.

great, maybe i will use it very soon, asi today i should maybe get some work in character anim. thanks for tip and thanks to Designdevil! i love new and useful modeler plugs.

Frank,
Do you use this plug-in with the standard animation tool set of modeler
or do you use it with MotionStudio?

bitkar: Nice! Be sure to post some anim work! :)

Steinie: I use it with Motion Studio. The parented mouth object is simply attached as object to a bone.

today i had meeting with customer and it seems pretty good, ... so I will make a thread for the project. Its gonna be an advert. Iam not too experienced in animation, so any help will be appreciated ;)

I am curious, after reading this post

Design Devil uses sub skeleton structures to better control hand poses. Couldn't you add
the hand and use this plugin to change the poses? So you have one visible posed hand
with the other hand poses hidden?
