trueServe761 - Generate Cache ID

Post by trueBlue »

Here is how you Generate Cache ID for your Objects in trueServe761:
1.) Open the Scene View by Alt + LMB selecting it's icon.
2.) Navigate inside your space, RMB select each object and select Generate or Remove Cache ID.
Note: The Cache ID does not show until you reopen the Scene View again.

ah ok. So that's how you do it! I forgot.
I see that the cache id's are in the space, but they are not in the default folder, like:
admin/documents and settings/temp/rosetta

that's where I was looking.

thanks trueblue :bananacheers:

They should be in the users folder:
C:\Users\trueBlue\AppData\Local\Temp\Rosetta
replace trueBlue with your name.

FYI: It might be suggested to tS761 users to remove all of these files from time to time as some of them could be obsolete. They will regenerate when you enter the space.

you should check that this really works , as it did not work up until the last release , I didnt check it in this version yet...
If you want to generate a cache for more than one object at a time using trueSpace when logged into the space you can multi select in the LE and use the command from the manual.
