I have recently reloaded 6.5 and 6.6.

I add a cube and a sphere to a new scene.

Click the render button and ...nothing! I then try the render to file button...which should bring up a dialog box...but no!..nothing again.

This happened also when I only had 6.5 loaded. Now I have 6.6 running and its the same.

Has anyone experienced this before and is there a remedy? It it like these features are just disabled.

Additional oddity.....

When I click on the icon helper button....I can get the render to file dialog to pop up from there and save an image.

However the render scene still doesn't work from the icon helper.

Use the render/render to file icons that are built in to the window (on the bottom right).
The ones on the floating toolbar just toggle the default action of the render icon.




Then, hotkey them and never worry about finding 'em again!

I got so transfixed on those floating ones that I totally missed the obvious ones at the bottom.
