not sure but 2 days ago i've installed a new script to prevent spammers on the forum.. actually i have to accept every new user by hand, but first check on a spammer list if they are or not.. that's why the forum has no spammers, or at least less..
Ok,
First problem was "anonymous" get a spam message.. that was fixed but some users are still reporting problems during the login..
So i want to know if someone still having problems, if you press logout and back to anonymous user you see that error, the idea is try to find what is causing that problem cos this script will help a lot on the registration process.
Thanks!

Re: Spam problems..
Prodigy, you should change some settings in PHPBB3. Installing new scritps brings nothing than more trouble. You can make it secure enough to prevent bots from entering the page at all with just phpbb3 internal settings. Keyword is the custom profile fields
Go to Users and Groups. Click at Custom Profile Fields in the Users section. Create a new profile field. Field type Drop Down Box. I wrote antispamming in the field identification at my board.
Further settings: Publicly display profile field : no
Visibility Options,
Display in user control panel: no
Display on registration screen: yes
Display on viewtopic screen: no
Required field: yes
Hide profile field: no
In the Language specific options you define what kind of dropdown box you will get
Field name/title presented to the user: put a question in here. Like, are you a spambot?
Field description: put in a little description. I have for example written here that this question is an antispambot question.
Entries: put in two answers. Separated by new line. Like,
Yes i am a spambot, please delete me
No, i am no spambot, let me in
In the Profile type specific options choose for both, the default value and the Option equal to non entered value , the first question. So that a new User has to choose the second answer.
What happens now is that a new user will see a new dropdown box where he needs to choose the second answer to proceed with registering.
And that`s it. I haven`t got a single spambot since i changed it that way. At two phpbb3 boards running. Bots are not able to read the custom profile fields yet. And will fail at it to register
