One of my oldest sets, I still have it and modeled it for fun.

LEGO Egypt Set Figures
My new avatar, I was considering calling them Marcel and Prodigy as a continuation to the "Where is Marcel" thread but I decided not to

Minor update of the scene, I think it looks better now that I edited it

Re: LEGO Egypt Set
The models look terrific as does the scene setup/pose.
But for me, the background is way-off both in terms of style and lighting. Perhaps putting the image through some kind of toon shader may do the trick.
I also think you will find having the sun directly behind your figures, but their shadows clearly going from right to left will prove quite a distraction for you audience even if they only notice on it on a sub-conscious level.
HTH and keep up the good work.

Re: LEGO Egypt Set
Yeah, I know what you mean. The shadows are like that because I added the background later. You see, when I made the scene, the pyramids and sun were a lot further back in the image, it was probably more to the right as well. It will be hard to change though without redoing the whole scene.Breech Block wrote:The models look terrific as does the scene setup/pose.![]()

It was quite some time ago so I can't really remember all the details of how I built everything
