I will create every single building different! I know how to create the buildings the only problem is with the texture and map, the only problem with the texture is that I want the max realism is possible. The key of realism is a balance between Model and Texture, so every building will have her own texture. Now the bigger problem and the reason for I have not yet started is the map, I want a map with profundity and easy manipulation, in TS Forums Rich Levy answer me that I can use Google Maps. But can I create a good giant map using a cube and adding polygons then making sweeps in surface to make mountains? Or exist another choice
Thanks and sorry for any errors
It's too confuse?

Poorly done but it shows the concept that I describe in the end of the anterior message.

you can model the terrain manually (best choose for best control but need a lot of work). you can use a terrain generator (many soft for that) and import the object in TS. you can also use the displacement mapping in TS to do a terrain with an image. for best realism you can use several technic at the same time: first create simple terrain manually with low polygon, second use sds and create a displacement mapping for more details, then use bump map for the little detail. Keep the 3 step in different objets. Useful for render with complex terrain near the cam and simple mountain further. You win ram (it is important with TS).

I don't understand the last part, sorry.
When I ad the SDS appears some ''striations''. But is more soft (what I want)

To fix that, delete the bottom face.. that should solve your problem
I don't want to be priority of Prodigy, he have whole month to finish the tutorial. Now about this image, how you do the water? What is the size of the whole scene?

Hi this was meant to be a joke !
I did that scene in Vue in 2 minutes... I first rendered a picture of the woman in the free Daz studio 3 changed it into
greyscale and inverted the image... I then inserted a terrain and subdivided the mesh and loaded the picture.
The water is a plane with bump thats all there is to it...... But its not in Truespace...
The size of the scene is realy small !

When you need help for a construction it is better to show a wireframe of your scene. the use of sds need sometime to add some edge or erase some face . I think your base need edge between the mountain and as Prodigy said you need to erase the bottom face before use sds. I think you don't understand my last post because my poor english. All i can say is sometime it is better to have several objects to create a terrain. One with hight polygons and other with low polygon for mountain who are far.
Its exactly as simple in truespace you just have to load the picture into the displacement mapper and use it on a
plane with about 800x800 polygons and ad a plane for the water with bump
here is the picture in Truespace
Now I understand... Thanks, and I saw your B.O.T videos and looks too cool.
My English is poor too!

here is a displacement mapping made with trueSpace. You can use it to do a terrain or a low refief. first you "paint" the relief (woman at the left). Different than the use of sds. The choose of the technic used depend of your need.
