Re: What you solved, guys?
In the /System/Preferences area, there is a node called Desktop.
That Desktop node has an option, called; Wire highlight.
By default, in trueSpace, trueserve, and trueplay, the default option is set to:
Wire highlight: Subobjects
this means, in truePlay, when you click an object, the wire mesh gets highlighted.
The Wire highlight options are selectable using the dropdown box.
You can choose:
None
objects
Subobjects
To solve, we copied that desktop node, to an object and encapsulated it. So we had the copied Desktop node,
inside an object. And, changed the option from: Subobjects to; None
Then, we created a jscript command which would:
1> delete the Desktop node, in the /System/Preferences area
2> Copy OUR version of the Desktop node, from our node, Into the /System/Preferences area.
So, the Desktop in the /System/Preferences area would then have the Wire highlight set to: NONE
Attached is a Desktop.zip file. Unzip and play with the Wire highlight dropdown to see what I mean.
