I just found this tip today, it's for adding the new icons from TS modelside and implant them in TS 6.6 standalone ( old version of TS ) to have the same interface of TS modelside with these beautiful and clear icons, of course this tutorial is for users that have the old truespace 6.6 standalone, maybe this tutorial work with old version of truespace like truespace 3,4 and 5.


1) you need Truespace 7.6 full version installed.

2) you need Truespace 6.6 standalone installed.

3) Go in the folder "TrueSpace761/tS" and copy the file "TsCommon.dll"

4) And Paste the file in the folder "Truespace6", this action erase your old file, make a copy of this file or rename it, to go back with old icons.

5) Start trueSpace 6 and now you have the new icons, only one wrong thing it's the little icons in lower-right that don't match the little size, but you can easily fix this with a graphic editor and the program resource hacker.

I hope this tip is useful for users of the old version of trueSpace, i tested this tip in "trueSpace for Illustrators" and it's working.

Edit : after some search in the net, i found a topic created by emmanuel asset (Here in french sorry)that talk about the same tip but using resource hacker to recreat all icons, i want do this in first for this tip topic, but lucky i found the "TsCommon.dll" in TS761, no need to do this easy but long task but maybe necessary for old version of truespace 2,3,4.
