I sort of had an idea....on the model side and on ws side we can group objects together
and what I remember there is a stack plugin for workspace side
but I thought it would be great to have an object collection panek where
you could group all the objects together by including with or without
texture.. the objects......you could then export as one obj. or Collada
file! Even renaming in that stack would be cool! Same also including lights..
Is there something like an object collection panel?

I've been using Clinton FBX exporter, it works quite well. You can export more than just a selection - entire scenes even lights to the FBX format. It may not preserve normals well, but it works well. Just quadrify your geometry and remove floating points.
