I expected them in a landscape. Maybe heads sticking out of bushes. This is great ... as usual for you.

Great modeling and texture!
Only mother nature could make something that unique and of course the carefully chosen 3D software.

With Sculptris and a graphics tablet, I found my gestures sculptor. Computer technology is forgotten here and this is what I love.

Your ability to use the software and sculpt something very arty and fun is always very encouraging! (and sorry I was late to the party!)

I use an intuos 5. This is my first tablet and I have not looked at the functions. Moreover, I would use probably not. The only thing that interests me is the quality and sensitivity of displacement. The hand do all the work.

@Draise. I don't use the software very well. Before Sculptris i was sculptor on Wood, stone and iron. Don't thing the soft do the work for you. Sculptris is a modeler for hands. It have your capacity.

Thanks marcel.
Since I have not used a tablet before, I do not know about the terminology, like angle sensitivity - not sure if that would really matter to me or not. Same for lines per inch: does it really matter?
Does your pen require batteries? If so is that a problem when you use it? Would the weight of the batteries in the pen make your hand tired?

Re: Megalocerosaurs. The final.
My pen is very light and without battery or cord. Soft touch material very nice. The resolution is important on a small surface. I have a size medium. Supersize are tiring for intensive use. No battery for the tablet (USB). There is also an option wifi + batteries suitable for the same tablet (not interesting for a home use. The intuos 5 tablette is also tactile and it can be used as a big touchpad for other thing (zoom and rotate photos with fingers). The pressure of the pen is good and it is very important with Sculptris to draw and change the size like a true brush. It is impossible with a mouse. this model can not disappoint you. It is expensive but it can be justified. A real pleasure.

Thanks Marcel. That's pretty cool that you can change the size of the brush using pressure. That would be far easier than having to pause (using a mouse) in order to adjust the brush width using the widget, then returning to the work, then having to return back to the widget if you have the wrong size for the brush, etc.

Re: Megalocerosaurs. The final.
When you select the size of a tool, it become the max area where the tool work with the pen. The pressure change the size from 0 to max area and the effect increase at the same time (crease, smooth, ...). It is why your hand do all the work and you keep your real style of artist.
Do you search a tablette to buy ?
