I just read a post where Cellulo is posting some updates to some TS versions and saw TS6.6 for Illustrator and it reminded me about when that was out and available. I remember trying to figure out why I would want to buy it at the time.

Does anyone remember what made it so special or does someone have some examples of its use?

I think it was something you could buy as a whole suite (TS6.6 and the illustrator stuff) or as maybe an add-on (illustator seperate or as a ipak).

Maybe there is a link out there to the original TS webpage with the ilustrator stuff expalined?

I do have the TSFlash plugin and see how that exports to flash from truespace. I assume the ts6.6 illustator is a exporter to Adobe Illustrator and maybe puts stuff in a .psd file on layers?

Now I just need to see if I had bought that. I do have 4 #paks...just cannot remember which ones.

Does anyone remember how the illustrator part was sent out if you were maybe adding it to your already purchased TS6 back then?

Was it a seperate pak? Or was it not available that way?

I found some difference when rendering some examples files for testing the render in tS illustrators and tS 6.6 modelside (7.61, 7.6), i need someone that can confirm these rendering problems, you need trueSpace 6 standalone ( illustrator or no) and of course tS 6.6 modelside in tS 7.61 full.






Another problem, when loading the example file cheeseboard6 in modelside tS 7.61, the plank don't have the wood texture with pine settings assigned, in tS illustrators it's ok, in fact in modelside you need to reassign the color shader wood for the plank but problem when i use the same settings from tS illustrator, the slider pattern scale is broken in modelside for the color shader wood, i can't reproduce the same texture and fix this example file for futur update .

Someone can fix this bug or it's hard coded and not possible, i think it's inside the material.mtl file the problem or inside truSpace modelside, i m trying tu use the material.mtl from tS illustrators in modelside but same problem.
