Background story: a century ago, robots were mass produced to serve humans and took over all hazardous work, now they are in need of dwindling resources and robots fight for it on new frontiers...
Setting: what I have in mind is a massive scene with mammoth mining robots harvesting resources and a host of support and protection bots protecting them and slugging it out while the behemoths labour away and repair bots fix them as they get damaged...
Used some old bots I made that I want to modify and use in the scene, the big one on the left is new, made of different parts from old robots I made... Didn't use any of my MAV series vehicles in this one though...
In the end, to fit better with the title, I positioned the mammoth robots where they rammed each other, while smaller attack robots shoot at each other around them... learned about using alpha mask for special effects like smoke, gun flashes and explosions in this one but need to learn more... Note the little blockman in the foreground to give some perspective to the size of the machines...
