Is there a navigation widget in truespace modelside like the one seen manipulating hands and heads in the first video of spirit of the interface or is there a better tool now. How do you access either one if either one exists? Thanks?

i havent seen that video, but try to check 3D Controls option in preferences, which is accessible in main menu.

I figured out how to activate this tool. Simply go to the move,rotate,scale tool at the top of the screen. Open up the panel and click on the down arrow until you can see the light blue ball in the center of Retroboy's stomach. then move this ball tohis elbow. Watch the video. First of all load Retroboy from the object library. By the way, my Truespace crashed when I used this tool in windows 7. Bitkar thanks for the suggestion!
