Furturistic Bike - WIP - jamesmc
Starting on the rail bike first because it was easier.

Better be a bike with a heater then. I thought of the ultimate all terrain bike when I saw the chains.

Probing the scene with possibilities - added an IceBot as the interface for a remote control racing facility on a frozen glacier.

Naw, I've migrated completely to Carrara 7 Pro, Hexagon, 3D Coat and Z-brush.
I can produce equally bad art in any program I use though.

I figured ice biking must be pretty rough, chunking dirty ice at the guy behind you.
So, with that in mind, getting down with two scenes.
First one is "Eat Snow CanHead!!!"
Second one is "Eating Snow, Aye!"

Thanks for the kind, complimentary words.
Hexagon is probably the easiest, most complete modeler I've ever used and it was cheap when I bought it.
Zbrush, I don't use that much - I'm migrating over to 3DCoat.
My opinion of 3DCoat is that it invigorated me doing more 3D work.
It has the best modeling (sculpting tools), best retopology and the best 3D painting on the market.
Plus, the learning curve is much less steep than Zbrush and 99 percent of the tutorials for 3DCoat are free.
Okay, enough of the 3DCoat 'fanboy' club.

Cool bikes and characters!
I like the ice/glass planet shown in the sky. A transparent planet! Now there is a concept.

Getting down to the nitty gritty as my unfortunate premature subdividing is maxing out the memory limits. So, it will probably be PhotoShopping from here on out.
