Ok I have a wierd issue. I am using a image for a back gound. When I apply it to a plane or cube, for that matter, and render it, it renders black. When I go into texture mode it renders fine. See image.

Re-size/ Save as to 4000 pixels or less and see if that does it.

I liked this one when it was just a title. First image is already interesting.

If it don't work under 4000 pixels try to save your image in a standard codec (jpg, bmp, tga). Some image can have curious codec (from Japan and other), even with jpg.

They can easily be modeled in one piece and have one or two layers of subdivision....
or you could try and use the free sculptris application....

not bad, but it would need some more tweeking ;) (the lightness of bg and foreground, better bump of snow maybe) but overall it makes nice impression.

Yeah I feel the same Biktar. As stated I did this in a hurry. So more than likley this will be the final image. I was really going for statment over render, but that is not to say I am not trying to get a better render.

Sweet scene. The texture actually looks quite 3D. Nice work.
