While I have zero work to do at work

Post by froo »

So yeah. Here I am at work, feeling like I am doing time - literally, no work to do for probably the next month or so.

What to do, what to do?

I am learning blender, currently reading the manual as fast as I can. I am not reading every single word, just the main paragraph for each topic, primarily; unless something interesting catches my eye.

Wow, blender has some really cool mesh editing tools!

In other news I am almost done with the mini jib (a small camera crane). I need a 3x3x1 piece of hollow aluminum to mount a quick release plate. As an addon I plan to attach a pulley system for camera tilt capability.

Arighty; talk soon folks!

That's one of the good things about being self employed. When I'm at work I am working. If there's no work to do then it is my free time.

How is you all's acting stuff going?

Hey Finis!
The acting effort is going pretty well. Improving all the time. We should be filming with a Nigerian director soon; he had planned to shoot this past weekend but we have not heard from him yet.
We're preparing to produce demo reels for my wife and myself. I am almost done with a mini jib (mini camera crane) for DSLR cameras; just need a specific piece of aluminum. Thanks for asking! :)
