Here is an interesting experiment
THE MYSTERY!!
I modelled a basic diamond and then filled it with bright white light with a rainbow environment map in TS 1 and 2
Interested to see results from other 3D programs and coders inparticular!!
The results I have achieved so far are here...it makes the perfect Bikini!! LOLOL!!!

I guess this is a challenge really....
1. can truespace produce a diamond that looks like a sparkly diamond
2. what happens when you put light inside of a diamong??
Rikini is the closest i can get in ts1 & 2

well, here is an experiment I did for a friend AGES ago, they wanted a logo with a diamond shining from inside a planet globe... not sure if this is what you are looking for and don't even know if i have the scene file anymore...
there are some pros around that does jewelry illustrations for commercial adverts, not sure where they are any more but they did amazing things!!!
