cannot get clintonman's indigo plugin to load.
Cannot get clintonman's indigo plugin or the one already in the RS Main Libraries to load. Where are you supposed to put Clintons3dPlugin? Thanks!

Re: cannot get clintonman's indigo plugin to load.
When I load the indigo rsj object and then go ino the 2d panel and hit "install buttons and scripts I get the message "Could not find a registry key for indigo install directory. Must be set manually." I installed the rsx script in the RsObject Library.I have Clintons3dPlugin.rsx folder and 2 Indigo folders in my library browser. I've double clicked these but Library panels are not created. As well the folder icons in the library are offset to the left.As well there is no "indigo Library Panel. As well how do I find the indigo and collado icons? Thanks!

I'm going to need a more complete description of the steps you are taking. Where or what is the "RsObject Library." The indigo should not have any collada icons. Please describe every step you took and list it here.bkjernisted wrote:When I load the indigo rsj object and then go ino the 2d panel and hit "install buttons and scripts I get the message "Could not find a registry key for indigo install directory. BTW you can ignore the registry key message if you are using indigo renderer before version 2. The message will also show if you don't have the indigo render installed before installing the truespace plugin and scripts.

Re: cannot get clintonman's indigo plugin to load.
I meant to say RS Main Library and it is Clintons3dPlugin.rsx that I put in there. The new istaller is an RsObj so I loaded it through the file and then load menu. Please see edited post above. I seemed to have the indigo librery panel for a minute but it disappeared. Would things be better if I had the updated zip installer? I must have installed the collada plugin at an earlier time. I closed both instances of the Indigo folders in the library browse and have been unable to get them to show up again using the file, load menus for theRsO indigo installer. The indigo controls remain in the 2d panel. Clintons3dPlugin.rsx was installed through the Package manager. Thanks and sorry for all the confusion!

Still confused here.
Can you tell me all the steps you took from the beginning? I still have no way of knowing what steps you took. Did you see the instructions and video on the web page?

Clintonman I'm reinstalling everything from the start and then I'll try again. I read your link and watched the movie. Is there a zipped installer somewhere? Thanks!

Re: cannot get clintonman's indigo plugin to load.
In the video near the end how does he blank out the path to test the "Try Windows Registry"? I seem to have it installed correctly now. The mistake I made was that I saw that the fellow in the video had installed a much smaller sized "Clintons3dPlugin.rsx" so I went deeper into the indigo folder and found the same rsx file in_vti_cnf that was 204 bytes in size and loaded it. Clintonman can you give me the steps needed to load RsObj files? Are these the same steps used to load scenes and shaders and othe Rs files? Thanks!

How do you save the indigo panel and icon so you don't have to load it later again? Thanks!

Re: cannot get clintonman's indigo plugin to load.
I assume they the icon disappears because you reset to default context or delete the icon manually. What I do is after installing a script I go into the tS folder find the default.ctx and make a copy of it. If something happens to truespace or I press the reset to default context I exit truespace, delete the default context and then rename the copy back to default.ctxbkjernisted wrote:How do you save the indigo panel and icon so you don't have to load it later again? Truespace has a menu item for saving and loading ctx files but it doesn't work so I follow the steps above. If you want the panel to stay open all the time you can ctrl-drag it from the panel view.

Yes it's the same steps. Use the file menu or the library view. If you found the Clintons3dplugin.rsx inside the indigo folder it is probably and old version. Maybe it will work maybe not.bkjernisted wrote:In the video near the end how does he blank out the path to test the "Try Windows Registry"? I seem to have it installed correctly now.
