Re: Bat Balloon
Not cartoonish so not a challenge entry.
The balloon now has bat guns and cords to connect the gondola to the balloon. I'll add a simple gondola frame and object for the burner. It needs something else. What would Batman put on a balloon? Suggestions?

Re: Bat Balloon
Yes Steinie there is a Batman. He exists as certainly as wonderful gadgets and head to toe armor and and the devotion to giving bad guys the blams and pows they deserve exists.
Maybe I will enter this in the challenge. Dragneye, does this qualify as CARTOON transportation? I never heard of a Bat Balloon.
The batguns are now on spherical mounts and there are some on a rail on the balloon. They are now multi-barreled Bat-ling guns. I'll add some chaff and flare dispensers and some antennas. Quick buildings for Gotham and unless there are suggestions that will be it.
If I had won the last U3DA Challenge the theme would have been aquarium and balloon/dirigible. Any scene that has both. Now I'm thinking of all sorts of scenes with balloons. Surreal, balloon decorations in an aquarium ...

Re: Bat Balloon
Yeah sure Finis. Batman's not a real person (ok, ok, no hate mail please) so that could be cartoon.
For the U3DA Challenge my original idea was 'alien encounters', but I liked the idea of continuing on the past theme. So far looks like I'm the only one.

Re: Bat Balloon
Dragneye, an entry it will be. Participation varies often due to factors unrelated to the challenge theme. There will probably be more participants when people get ideas. I like the theme and have other ideas for entries too.
The balloon now has a ring with chaff and flare dispensers. They are just cylinders since this is low poly/cartoon modeling. Antennas top and bottom too. I tried the toon shader in Cool Powers 3 but it will need experimentation to get good results. Probably won't use it.

Looks heavy duty.
I'm tempted to create something to fight your dasterdly balloon
PS: I liked your previous signature at the bottom, and I like this one. Good work guy.

Re: Bat Balloon
Nice work Finis! I like all the detail work you put into the Bat Balloon. I hope you keep entering the Challenges using Hexagon too. It would be a shame to loose your skills.

Re: Bat Balloon
Thanks Steinie. I'm not going anywhere. Just learning a new tool. Hexagon forum? I need docs for 2.5 version Hexagon. No challenges or projects for a while until I develop some minimum competency with Hexagon.
Dragneye, the penguin dirigible?
James, imposter! If you were Batman it would not have been so easy for Baby Hulk to throw you out of the balloon.
