Set/reset default pose
I can't get Set Default Pose to work properly. Most of the time when I reset the pose, some of the limbs end up in the wrong position, even if I had set the default pose immediately before. Sometimes it's one limb, sometimes it's another. It could be working fine, then I use the Dynapose tool, and the skeleton is broken again. The skeleton is perfectly symmetric, but it's random whether it's the left or right arm that's broken. Sometimes, adjusting the joint limits on the shoulder fixes it for a while. Does anyone know what to do about this?

Re: Set/reset default pose
We talk about the Workspace Bones, right? It is broken. There is nothing you can do about it. It can work, but most of the time you end in something useless. And you can be sure that the default pose will go wonky sooner or later.
Some additional info about the default pose, in case you mix it with a pose library. It is not. Normally the default pose is applied once, when you attach the skin to the skeleton. That`s the moment to press the Apply Default Pose Button. It is the pose that you have build your skeleton with. So it`s no good idea to use it as a pose library to store poses. Use keyframes instead.
I hate to say that, but do yourself a favour and forget about the trueSpace Workspace bones. That`s not the only quirk. They never finished it. It is more alpha than beta. You can do some simple stuff with this bones system. But it bites you in the moment where you really want to animate with it. It is simply too unstable, positionwise and bugswise. The time to learn this bones system is better spent in learning something working
Alternatives could be the Motion Studio plugin from the Modeler side in case you want to stay with trueSpace. It`s old and limited, but it`s at least stable.
I personally have given up at trueSpace bones and am at learning the Blender Bones system at the moment. A working and state of the art bones solution, yay!
