I've got a situation with trueParticals and tS6.6. This is very strange....
When I call up trueParticals the emitter comes up with an error
requester that says "LEFT CLICK CALL BACK OF TRUEPARTICALS FAILED".
TrueSpace does not lock-up but I can't use trueParticals. (No tPartical menu).
I have deleted the tS.CFG, tS.CFL, tS.PRI and the tS.TSP in the tS Folder
and think I have traced it down to the tS.TSP file (it remembers your
layout config at start-up). When I delete this file tS starts up with the
default lay-out. (No plugins ect..) TrueParticals then works fine !!!
If I exit tS LIKE THIS and reload tParticals works fine too. If I load my
layout config (plugins come back ect...) tparticals works fine too ! !
If I then exit tS and reload it... tParticals come back with the
"Left Click Call Back error". Once this happens, if I then load any of the
default layout configs I still get this error. I have to go back into the main
tS folder and delete the tS.TSP file that tS makes when it closes.
As long as I use the default layouts, tParticals loads fine after reloading
tS. My back-up lay-out config file does the same thing.
I've also gone so far as to load the default layout and then rebuild it
from scratch (1.5 hours of rebuilding). Again the same thing, tparts
worked fine until I closed tS and reloaded it. Its like tS is making a bad
tS.TSP file at closing time ? ( I also deleted the TSP file reloaded tS
with the default layout and just made a VERY FEW changes... closed
tS re-loaded and tParticals worked fine). Any ideas why this would
be happening ?

And the problem was (the very good) "MultiMorph2". For some reason
tS makes a .TSP file when closing, that trueParticals does not like ,
(when MultiMorph2 is installed in the layout). (For me anyway).
CK's MultiMorph2 is a very good Morphing plugin for tS (model side/6.6).
A quick fix is to leave MultiMorph2 uninstalled in the layout and just load
it in when needed. Also, remember to uninstall it BEFORE closing tS.
I don't think this is a problem with MMorph2 because it works fine all
the time in trueSpoace (very stable). It works great with tParticals too !!!
I just can't use tParticals from any SAVED layout with MMorph2 in it.
STRANGE...

Glad you figured that out...I generally run screaming from the room when the subject of TSP files comes up.

Bad memories.

This was the first trouble I ever had with a .TSP. What strange
behavior too !!! Took some time to figure it out .... (considering
all my plug-ins ect....) I use the same layout and don't change it
very often. So I assume, I won't be running into suprises like this
anymore... (I hope)...
