Ok the title maybe got your atension .now i need to have a work flow with my apps
from modling to rendered animation. how ? my apps i thought i can use are for modling
z brush, modo truespace silo and hexagon ,for painting 3d coat and sculptris zbrush
for animation i thought blender or vue but how do i bring this all together and what do i do first apart from build the model
should i first texture the model and make a uv map or do that last .
i have realy no clue .
one more for you, how do i export a rigged model out of blender
Thanks Ralph

Ok your not very far away from a very good workflow !
Blender has a very good physics engine and I´d use that its realy good but ditch it for modeling and rigging !!!!!! ;)
Add to your toolset the free version of google sketchup.
Whenever you build normal models build them in either silo or modo or hexagon BUT NOT buildings.. those are best made and about 400 % faster
built inside Sketchup.
Once you have your models paint them with 3d coat but not flat walls or buildings those are also best painted inside Sketchup ! Again 400 % faster
then painting in any other application and there is a trick I will show you how to make displacement maps also in Sketchup with any model that you have..
For rigging the easiest way for humanfrigures is to use either victoria 4 or michael 4 as a primitive and export that model out of either Daz 4 studio or any Poser version even 10 year old version 5 that you can get for an apple and an egg.....
The trick is that you apply the alterd and remodeled version of your human as a morph target.. its much better that way because the animation flow
works that way and you can use ALL morph targets that were made for these figures including automated voice over....(talking heads)
You can use Zbrush for morphing too(also sculptris with a trick) but be aware that you can change the shape of the mesh but NOT the vertex order.
If you want to build your own rigg there is a very good tutorial that Dan just posted to the tutorial section ! ;)
About 700 % faster then rigging in Blender.... and rendering in Blender.
Blenders weekest point is its own render engine !
If you own Vue you can import Poser animations as well as Daz animation either with native Poser format or with Collada format....
So except for Sketchup which is free and there is a tutorial i made for it in the Tutorial section. I can show you how to export files from the
free version....we can PM
Daz or an old version of poser isnt expensive but saves you grey hair from Blender rigging...
Blender doesnt have goodies like pupeteer etc that realy make rigging easy.. you also have the animate plus bricks with those you can
make animations like with lego bricks..
I will guide you through the whole process and since my native toungue is german "ich kanns Dir auch erklären ! ;) "
