Good, my suggestions... Dirt!!!! Dirt goes a long way. Poor places looks dirty.
Mobile Homes have a base... Underneath. By law they have to cover it.

Keep it up.

This trailer park was hit by a tornado over a year ago. The sad thing about it is that a lot of the damaged trailers and junk is still there. To add insult to injury, the City was charging property tax on the trailers whether they were destroyed or not.

Simulated a debris field and still have to make a distribution map for it, along with distribution maps for the trailers, both in good and bad shape.

Roads, fences, telephone poles and ect. left to make along with the poor people's trailers that didn't get damaged, but still living in the trailer park. :(

Some the base looks like it blends with the debris... And it looks funny.

Good job with the broken trailers.

Yeah, I think the blending is because the debris is linked to an infinite plane which is currently just a shade of green.

When I re-do the surface replicator with landscape maps, it should look more "natural".

I lived in a trailer park for a while as a kid. The park was like a giant playground for kids and nearby vacant lots and ditches were great for riding bikes.

Looks good. Yeah, dirt, lack of maintenance too.

Thanks Finis!

Decided I'm going the video route.

Gathered up the music and made some noise, etc. to simulate tornado sound. Gonna show the before and after in a 3D sort of way.

Got to figure out my scene management, trim it, kick it up a notch, comb it down, lift it up and set it down again.

Well, you know what I mean. :bananadrum:

Some assorted props I modeled last night for use in the aftermath of the tornado scene. I had made a couple of other things, but evidently I saved the lightbulbs used to light the scene and not the objects. (shows what happens when you stay up too late to do stuff). :)

Still working on the old trailer park hit by tornado. Probably should be a six month project rather than a 30 day project - so I scaled it down it bit. :)

Made myself a video storyboard (sort of) so I can think things out - with a little blues music to help it along. :bananaguitar:

cool, maybe I'm an oddball but I always wanted a nice little trailer to live in. A light blue one with friendly flower pots out front :) I think trailer homes are just quaint and appealing. Not many trailer homes on long island though, a few little trailer parks here and there.

Looks really good James, I always love your creativity. But don't let your tornado hit my little light blue trailer with the flowers :P

In light of what happened (tornado) at Moore Oklahoma, I'm going to suspend my entry and leave it as is.

Yes that is a good decision James. Maybe just detail what is there and not worry about the storm.

You could do trailer(s) or trailer park without the tornado but do whatever you find appropriate. It does seem best to leave out the tornado and devastation aspects.

Neat! The challenge is over soon. If you're entering this then put it in the challenge thread. Otherwise it looks like Steinie will win by default.
