"Taking the Long Way Around"

I'm not really someone who does a lot of photo editing but here is an image I made in the Gimp.
This image features two of my custom built Bionicles, Kyroh (left) and Ysiri (right) on some quest. Needless to say there is a argument between the two regarding their current tactic.

I've been using all sorts of tricks to get it to look as little as a picture taken in my living room. Several things, like the vents, I made in trueSpace.
Here you can see the original vs the edited image:

Great color balance and crisp - very nice

Hmm, really? I didn't think it was very good. Taken with the camera in my phone, lol. Sure it's a 5mp but still...

A cameraphone?!?!!? wow, you got a decent camera in your phone.. I want one!

Hehe, it's a Sony-Ericsson Experia Mini Pro Android phone. Was kinda expensive though when I bought it, even a little overpriced. I also wouldn't recommend getting one, the camera has no settings you can change whatsoever and the phone itself is known to be kinda buggy.
Still, I like it. It has a small keyboard and is pretty much a little pocket computer. :)
