I'm going to try a still life. Haven't done that traditional style in CG.
Draise: "may exist". The month of May exists, at least as a concept, so you could model the month of May. How many polys? "Thirty polygons has September, April, June ..."

Yes, somebody take this boy down! Let's have some competition in the competitions. Not good at textures? Don't have time for an extensive scene? Can't do whatever? Use the talents, programs, and resources you do have. Pit creativity and imagination against technical expertise and powerful software, etc. There is a ton of talent among the members here. Different methods, different styles, different strengths. Use yours. Do it your way.
How about non-challenge participation? Don't have time for challenges? Do your own independent project. Work on it at your own pace.

True. Deadlines are a real killer for me sometimes...
I liked Dragoneye's little animation, but yeah... the competition was tough.. maybe I'll do another animation with.. Mikoms little suicide bomb bot for this one. Gotta ask him! And I'll model some other mechanical things.
Want to do like.. an Animation Mentor course in trueSpace just to see, but that means making my own rigs and scenery, which could also be mechanical..hmm....
