Castell Coch - Revived!

Post by blakeo »

Well it's been a long time in the making - but I've finally completed my castle model from the old MMC back in August 2008! The original WIP thread is on the old forum, here http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/s ... php?t=6305

Now here's the fun bit - it's now in Bing Maps too (the nasty new name for Virtual Earth - but I can't help thinking of Friends for some reason :) )

Here's the link :

http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v ... 570&tour=1

I was very pleasantly surprised at just how easy it is to publish from tS to Bing. Now, how to get it into Google Earth too ... hmmmm :) And a shared space for that matter - I've had great fun running round inside it!

I know I've been quiet on the forums lately but I'm still here using tS. I'll be posting some V-ray Images soon too.

Ps Can you find the secret room? Well not so secret really...

I bet that'd make a neat first person shooter game level. :)

Perhaphs you should try to make some renders with a good lighting.

There is a lot of work, Im sure you will enjoy a good render too. ;)

try the default light setups from the library, afternoon or noon always gives great lighting shades and shadows...
