I should mention that 3d Coat is realy cool also when used with Sculptris..
its got a realy good autotopolgy feature that cuts or slices your polygon count realy low !

Its one of the best 3d painting programs..
I´ved stopped doing Uv mapping and almost only do projection painting with 3d coat....
Its a lot more precise !
What i dont do in 3d coat (UV´s) I do in Sketchup !

I agree Peter. This was how I created the models for Jeff R's animation project. Sculptris to 3DCoat for retopology. (Although I think 3D painting in Sculptris is excellent.)

I also agree its a great app, but when i do reto in it it takes the poly count down too low.
i think i dont underrstand it enough for reto but the painting side is awsome
