Overflowing gas and wild foxes under a full moon

Post by froo »

So the other day I was pumping gas and the pump didn't shut off automatically.
Gas spewed everywhere. Thankfully one of those smart people that know it's safe to
smoke cigarettes near a gas pump wasn't around. Phew.

Last night we were out on the track for a run; full moon was out. I was laying on the track, stretching and staring at the moon and I noticed something off to the side. At first I thought it was a dog, then realized it was a red fox coming towards me. Either he thought I was a dying animal (I was kinda rolling around a bit), or he thought I was going to give him some food. Anyway, he got within about 8 feet of me. That was cool in a way, but also, could've been a bad thing. ;)

Cool fox encounter! Glad you didn't get roasted at the gas pump.

hehe yeah that was pretty cool! :D

We drove up to Silverthorne CO in the mountains Saturday and saw a herd of bighorn sheep
happily grazing by the road.

Oh and prairie dogs everywhere! hehe
